Those cheeky Antipodean scamps Terry return with this EP and as ever it’s a wee doozy.
Spud is a pop nugget, a lesson in immediacy with its squelchy keyboard line and political baiting but catchy singalong chorus of “What to do? What to do? What to do with a spud like you?”
Bizzo and Tophat has a kind of girl group vibe, whereas Lay Eggs is punky and fuzzy. Somewhat uncharacteristically, though, closer Drawn For Days is low-key, introspective and vulnerable, a slightly new direction for the fabulous foursome. Marc Riley loves ’em, I do and so should you. In fact, I’d make it compulsory.
