Kobe three piece band O’Summer Vacation are incredibly joyous and rowdy. Comprised of Mikiiii on bass, Ami’s hollered vocals and Manu on drums, they’re a welcome blast of energy if you’re feeling lethargic and disgusted with government U turns (I know I am).
Japanese noise has always been fast, furious and frenetic and this band are bringing a new verve to the genre. Indeed, they have spoken of being influenced by classic noiseniks like Boredoms, Ruins and the mighty Melt Banana.
Ami likes to sing using onomatopoeic lyrics, believing that their music should be felt rather than understood or dissected.
