This is from 2016, and there’s new stuff coming out now. I’m really into this as a summery piece right now, even if the weather can’t decide.
Cathy Lucas’ swooning vocals are of course reminiscent of the late Trish Keenan of Broadcast and the wonderful Laetitia Sadier from Stereolab; yet, they still inhabit their own wee sonic universe.
Beautiful, giddy stuff. Almost makes you forget the Tory leadership debacle, Brexit shenanigans and Trump. Shit. *puts on repeat*
