Dark wave seems to be ubiquitous at the moment, and no more so than Jakuzi. The Istanbul band cover issues like mental health and societal unrest.
New album Hata Payi (which translates as ‘part of the mistake’) is released this week and features the moody croon of Kutay Soyocak.
It’s sure to appeal to fans of mid- period Horrors and the likes of Gary Numan and John Foxx, as it’s steeped in early 80s influences.
